As you may be aware, every year at our Annual Users’ Conference, REMI has a tradition of voting on the location of next year’s conference. Based upon your votes at Lake Tahoe, I am pleased to announce that the 2012 Annual REMI Users’ Conference will take place in Washington, DC from October 17th to October 19th. Please save the date!
Convening in our nation’s capital, topics addressed will include the current economic climate as we approach the 2012 elections. Your participation makes the event all the more engaging and we hope you can join us. Aptly situated in downtown D.C., we will focus on the national, state, and local economic effects of diverse issues through in-depth analysis of our models and current research on a variety of topics. We welcome new and long-time REMI Users to present studies and share ideas and information.
Topics addressed include the national, state, and local economic effects of issues including energy, the environment, taxation, economic development, sustainability, security, transportation, and other policy areas of the day.
